British rapper Example returns with his brand new single "Watch The Sun Come Up" that is decidedly more gentle and pop-oriented than his previous work (with the exception of "So Many roads" that includes a sweet Carpenters sample). His raps are still laser sharp and Example's perceptive take on life is still intact, the difference is that he has chosen the talents of pop superproducer Brian Rawlings to put together some of the melodies and beats on this new effort.

Today Metric's new album Fantasies hits stores in the U.S., almost four years since Emily Haines & Co.'s last one, Live It Out. Miami Horror is the brainchild of 22 year-old Benjamin Plant. The Australian has put himself on the map by DJing various high profile events in his native Melbourne and remixing a bunch of killer tunes. He's now setting his sights stateside. He performed some gigs in the U.S. this year while working on recording his debut album. To give fans a taste of what's to come, he put out the "Sometimes" EP on iTunes last month (that includes the madly delicious Fred Falke remix of "Make You Mine.")
